“I was lucky enough to hear about The Learning Lab for Littles and began attending the summer educational playgroup back in 2021. I was searching for something to do with my then 2-year-old, and was initially drawn to the idea of engaging literacy with hands-on learning. The skills taught in each class are closely aligned with the weekly themes chosen by Miss Gianna. I noticed instantly how these sessions helped with my son’s language and development. There is a welcome circle to begin, hands-on learning experiences and my personal favorite, reading a story which ties into the theme for the class and activities for the week. I am astounded as to how much effort Miss Gianna puts into each session and how she can connect literature to the targeted skill sets and designed activities. After each class, I was able to use the skills taught to help promote my son’s growth and development at home. My son and I truly look forward to each class. The groups are small and intimate, and the play area alone sets The Learning Lab apart and ahead of other play groups in the area. Recently, my son started the Mindful Movement series which helps build his confidence while also making connections to the featured story of the week. There is no other place I would recommend and have referred many of my friends to The Learning Lab for Littles and will continue to do so in the future.”

“The Learning Lab for Littles offered a group of classes at our daycare last summer. My son LOVED them and would come home talking about Ms. Gianna and what they did in class that day. In fact, I longed for those Tuesdays because it was the only way we could get our son excited for school during that time. I was fortunate enough to be able to attend one of those classes and I was just amazed. Ms. Gianna has such an energy and presence with the kids. She took the time to get each one engaged at their own comfort level. Her classes provide the perfect balance of structure and play and always an opportunity to be creative. Vegetable stamps to paint different shapes? Yes! Sign us up! After those Summer sessions, my son would often ask about Ms. Gianna and when he was going to another class. Fortunately, we've been able to attend Ms. Gianna's Fall and Winter classes and they never disappoint. Each class is unique and beautifully planned. When I told my son that we were going to Ms. Gianna's class last weekend and we would be outside in the snow, he said "It's going to be a party!". And what a party it was!

“My two daughters (currently 3 and 4 years old) have been going to Ms. Gianna’s classes at the Learning Lab since last summer. Gianna is a very experienced kindergarten teacher and the kids gravitate to her— my girls get so excited when I tell them we are going to one of Gianna’s classes! She is engaging and all of her activities are well thought out, taking into consideration various ages and skill levels. There is always a book or theme of the day that the crafts and sensory activities revolve around. During the pandemic, her outdoor classes have been a welcome activity for the kids, she even built a “mud kitchen” in the yard with real utensils, pots, and pans! Recently, my daughters have participated and are enjoying her new yoga series. Any classes Gianna announces, I sign my kids up for because these classes are educational, unique, and creative!”
